The Nashville Epiphany Project (NEP – name of the Nashville YAV Site) committee would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support of the program over the last ten years and as part of our recent reunion celebration. A special thanks to those who brought soups and helped clean up the kitchen!
The event was a meaningful way to lift up both the program and people that make it happen. Alumni Matt Lang (2002) did an excellent job demonstrating through his sermon the kind of impact this program has on the life of a young adult and the life of the church. Our potluck luncheon was well attended and enjoyed by all. During the program, Mary Wilder from Room in the Inn and Judy Rye from the Martha O’Bryan Center shared about the tremendous blessings they have received, both personally and as agency partners, by working with our Young Adult Volunteers over the years. NEP Coordinator Susan Brantley was surprised with a fantastic tribute by Janet Salyer and a gift from the alumni. And, there were recent pictures and updates on the lives of all twenty-five of our alumni. If you are curious about what one of our alumni is up to these days and would like to get in touch with them, Susan Brantley or Sam Williams would be happy to provide you with updated contact information. Here’s to another ten years of NEP!
